DO YOU KNOW THE MOST POPULAR BREAKFAST IN SPAIN?WELL, IT INCLUDES THIS SAUCE!

 

Hello everyone! After few weeks in Spain I would like to share with you a very popular "Spanish dip" typically Catalan, healthy and on almost every breakfast table in southern Spain.

You MUST follow all these steps as described to create the authentic traditional tomato sauce, grating by hand for example instead of using an electric blender produces the best results. The recipes original name is "PAN TOMACA" - PAN means bread and TOMACA means "tomato" in Catalan.

SPANISH TOMATO SAUCE

Time: approx. 5  min active, 10 min total. Makes 2-4 servings. 

Ingredients:

3-4  fresh local, organic tomato 

1/4 cup of olive oil 

Himalaya Salt

Garlic (optional)

 

METHOD:

1. Grate the tomato by hand into a bowl, discarding the skin.

2. Now add the olive oil and salt. (garlic optional here)

3. Stir and it's ready to serve.

 

NoteDon't put the sauce in the fridge. It will loss all the natural yummy flavour and texture. Best thing to do is make ready and serve immediately - believe me!
